Artisan Plastic Surgery - A Poem by Faith Thompson

We are proud to share a beautiful poem that was presented to Dr. Wang-Ashraf from one of her patients, Faith Thompson. Her poem truly expresses her experience with Artisan Plastic Surgery and she was kind enough to allow us to share her exquisite words with you...

Artisan Plastic Surgery

I walked in, unsure and scared, not feeling quite whole

You came in, smiling with your heart, and saw right to my soul

I had places on my body I felt were defects

You saw the vision in my eyes, of the ocean, sand and sunsets

I cried on your shoulder about the things in my past

You listened intently, from the first word to the last

I was greatly relieved, a doctor that will listen is hard to find

You listened so attentively, to better evaluate my mind

I was emotional and erratic, but otherwise perfectly sound

You saw that my emotions were completely in bound

I looked at you questionably wanting confirmation to my needs

You spoke words that gave me hope, like planting new seeds

I was then reassured I was in the right place

You endorsed that decision with a smile on your face

I made arrangements for the day that will change my life

You were meticulously skillful with your surgical knife

I am happy with the results; I now feel complete

You and your staff has literally helped me to my feet

My life is now different, defects are now gone

Your dedication to beauty, may it continue to live on
